To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025, on January 16, 2025, the Office of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province, in collaboration with Phu Tai Joint Stock Company, organized the “Tet Sum Vay” program in M6 Hamlet, Vinh Hoa Commune, Vinh Thanh District.

The event was attended by the following officials: Lê Ngọc An—Provincial Party Committee Member, Party Committee Secretary, and Chief of the Provincial People’s Committee Office; Trần Thanh Cung – Deputy General Director of Phú Tài Joint Stock Company; Đinh Chí Công – Vice Chair of the Provincial Civil Servants’ Trade Union; along with leaders of Village M6 and all residents of Village M6.

Visitation and Gift-Giving Program

At the event, the two organizations warmly inquired about the health and well-being of the residents of Village M6 and extended their best wishes for a joyful, healthy, and safe Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake).

On this occasion, the two units presented 120 gift packages—consisting of cash and essential Tet supplies, with a total value of 62 million dong—to households in Village M6, along with several gifts for the village’s Military-Civilian-Administrative Committee. In addition, the program supported Village M6 in constructing a spacious and well-maintained entrance gate for the village office. Comrade Lê Ngọc An and Comrade Trần Thanh Cung also planted a commemorative tree together in Village M6, Vĩnh Hòa Commune, Vĩnh Thạnh District, to mark the occasion of their visit.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Lê Ngọc An expressed his delight at the changes and development in the locality, while also expressing empathy for the difficulties faced by the local residents. He encouraged the residents of Village M6 to strive for progress, innovate their production methods, and diversify their crops and livestock to improve production efficiency, productivity, and quality of life.

On the occasion of the Year of the Snake Lunar New Year, Comrade Lê Ngọc An extended his best wishes to the residents of Village M6 for a joyful and happy New Year. He also expressed his hope that they would stand united, overcome difficulties, gradually reduce poverty, and work together with local authorities to build their hometown into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful place.

Program Significance

The “Tết Sum Vầy” program has fostered a spirit of community service, bringing people together to care for and support ethnic minority communities facing difficult circumstances, thereby contributing to the trade union organization’s efforts to ensure social security. At the same time, this initiative has helped strengthen the close ties between the Party Committee, the local government, and the Provincial People’s Committee Office’s grassroots labor union, on the one hand, and the residents of the sister village M6—and Vinh Thanh District as a whole—on the other.
